In this stage you again continue to add sections to the Falcon’s upper frame. As with last time there are two frame sections to attach – the ones used in this stage are TF-37 and TF-38. Plus there is an outer radial rib to add. With the addition of TF-38 (which is attached to TF-35 on one side and TF-01 on the other), the outer rim of the to frame is complete and the whole structure becomes much more rigid. There are just a couple more frame sections to go to go to complete the upper frame. There’s also the last section to add to the jig for the upper section of the Falcon.

    Parts needed:
Assembly jig section supplied with Issue 64
Hull frame section TF-37 supplied with Issue 64
Hull frame section TF-38 supplied with Issue 64
Radial rib outer section supplied with Issue 64
Two, 2-hole connectors suppled with Issue 64
Gather together twelve short black button head screws

    Tools and other items needed
If you do everything that is described in the Stage 64 Assembly section of the magazine you will need the following:
Screwdriver supplied with Issue 2 or similar

    Assembling the top frames
This should be a straightforward stage as long as you remember to offer support when screwing screws up tight and do not handle the frame in such a way to put strain on frame sections, rib flanges or connectors during assembly.

You’ve now got the complete assembly jig for the top section of the Falcon so there’s even more reason to put the top frame back on the jig after you’ve finished working so it can be properly supported. Put any unused parts back in the parts pack for Issue 64 (so you can find them easily later) and store it away for future use.
