    Dear Millennium Falcon Builders,

    Here are a few photos of the mandibles, taken directly from the original prop in the Lucasfilm archive. If you are custom-painting your model, you can use them for your reference to how they look when attached to the framework and painted.

    What issue do these photos get published in?

    Hi ColPalDim,

    These mandible photos are just a few extra shots intended as a reference for anyone who is already painting their model.

    The full painting guide is due to be included in the last few issues of the magazine and this will contain an array of supporting pictures to assist with accurate painting of the models.

    If you look closely at the first 2 images you will see the blue screen which means the images were taken at the time of filming TESB. You can also see the part from Tamiya’s 1/700 King George V over hanging the underside of the starboard mandible. This part and another from the KGV next to it are missing from the DeAgo kit.
